Tornados Exterminate Yellow Jackets, 35-0
INDIANAPOLIS- The Indianapolis Yellow Jackets were blown out by the Indianapolis Tornados in a 35-0 final score on July 10 at Park Tudor School. The uncontested victory on Saturday was the Tornados’ first win of the 2010 North American Football League season.
The first quarter ended scoreless, but the Tornados regrouped for the second, putting 21 points on the board. Ean Decker made a 25-yard pass to Kevin Jackson for the game’s first touchdown. Decker later hit receiver Glenn Ayro with a 23-yard pass for a score. The Tornados were strong on the defensive end as well. Steve Wilson El had a 45-yard interception return for a Tornados touchdown to end the half. Maurice Magee had a touchdown reception in the third quarter while Phil Axton caught a 6-yard pass in the fourth to seal the victory.
